In 1832 Richard Branwell was named as a beneficiary in his father's will.

In 1851 Richard Branwell, aged 26, born in Penzance Cornwall, unmarried, M.R.C.S., L.A.C., Lond. Gen. Pract., was living at 9 High St., Mayfield, Sussex. With him was sister Jane Vivian Branwell (30) of Penzance.

In 1861 Richard Branwell, aged 39 [sic], born in Penzance, M.R.C.S. & S.S.A. Surgeon, and wife Ann E. Branwell, aged 48, born in Bloomsbury Middlesex, were living at 3 Cambridge Pl., Hove, Sussex. With them was step-daughter Ellen K. Day (12) of Mayfield Sussex, scholar.

In 1871 Richard Branwell, aged 45, born in Penzance, General Practitioner, and wife Ann E. Branwell, aged 50, born in Bloomsbury, were living at 19 _____ St., The Palace, Brighton, Sussex. With them was step-daughter Elie C. Day (22) of Mayfield.

Personal estate under £1,000. 3
