In 1901 Henrietta Cogar, born in St. Ives, and husband Richard Seymour Cogar, aged 55, born in St. Ives, banker's clerk, were living at 8 North Parade, Penzance, Cornwall. With them were children (single): Henry Andrew (30) of St. Ives, draper's assistant, Henrietta Morton (25) of Penzance, Madeliine Morton (20) of Penzance, and Richard Vivian Seymour (17) of Penzance, banker's clerk. Visiting was Ronald Macpherson Ball* (26) of Portugal, single, commercial traveller.

In 1911 Henrietta Cogar, aged 63, born in St. Ives (mother of 5 children, 2 deceased), and husband of 44 years Richard Seymour Cogar, aged 66, born in St. Ives, bank clerk, were living at 8 North Parade, Penzance. With them was daughter Madeline Morton (30), single.

In 1921 Henrietta Cogar, aged 73 years 8 months, born in St. Ives, and husband Richard Seymour Cogar, aged 75 years 7 months, bank accountant (retired), were with their daughter Madeline Morton Cannon and her husband Arthur Charles Cannon, chemist, druggist and qualified ophthalmic optician, at 31 Boscawen St., Truro, Cornwall.
