According to other primary as well as secondary sources, Rhoda married William H. Osborne on the same date. The family appears in the U.S. censuses under the surname Osborne, and Rhoda Osborne's death certificate shows her parents were Thomas Odgers and Eliza Williams. Rhoda does not appear to have married twice. The logical explanation would be that William changed his name, though this has yet to be confirmed.
