In 1891 Marianne Penrose, aged 51, born in Cornelly, and husband Richard A. Penrose, aged 49, born in Tavistock, coal agent's commission merchant, were living at 10 Walker Terrace, St. Andrew, Devon. With them were Marianne's mother Elizth. G. V. Davis (74) of Crowan, widow living on her own means, nephew Louis J. Trounce (5) of Canada.
