In 1721 Luce Phillipps was named as a beneficiary in her father's will, to receive £300 and his right and title in the tenement of Bosolvall in the parish of Gulval.
In 1738 Lucy Phillipps was appointed the sole executrix and legatee of the will of her sister Margaret Phillipps of Gulval, spinster.

Desires that her body be buried in the churchyard of Gulval.
Gives £100 to her brother-in-law Henry Tremenheere*.
Gives £200 to her kinsmen Jacob Phillips and William Phillips, and her kinswomen Frances Phillips and Jone Phillips, share and share alike.
Gives £60 to Gregory, Elizabeth and Grace, son and daughters of Gregory Jenkyn of St. Erth, gentleman, share and share alike.
Gives £40 to Philippa the daughter of John Chubb of East Looe, gentleman.
Gives to her uncles Samuell Phillips and James Phillips, and her kinsman Samuell Phillips of Kenwyn, the said John Chubb, to her kinswoman Elizabeth Davies, widow, Philippa the wife of the said John Chubb, and to Mary the wife of John Stephens the younger of St. Ives, gentleman, to each of them 27 shillings to buy mourning rings.
Gives £20 to her brother-in-law Abel Angove† to buy him mourning.
All the rest of her goods & chattels she gives to the said John Chubb and Abel Angove the younger, whom she appoints co-executors in trust of her last will and testament, for the use of her kinsman William Phillips.
