Bequeathed in the Will of his maternal grandfather Griffith Owen of Barmouth (proved 1805)—to his use and that of his heirs—the Share of and in that Messuage called Tyddynrhiddig with the appurtenances situate in the parish of Llanaber Llanfair and also those Messuages or dwellinghouses and Garden with the appurtenances situate in the town of Barmouth which are now in the occupation of William Lloyd, John Humphrey, Thomas Martin and Lowry Lloyd together with his seat or Bench in the Old part of the parish Church of Llanaber whereon he generally sits and also the Bench belonging to him on the Stairs in the same church leading to the old Gallery.

KNOW ALL MEN by those Present that We William Lloyd of Barmouth in the County of Merioneth Master Mariner, Edward Edwards and Salmon Lewis both of Barmouth aforesaid Master Mariners are held and firmly bound unto Henry William by Divine Permission Lord Bishop of Bangor in the Sum of Three hundred and forty Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid unto the said Right Reverend Father .... the Sixteenth day of March in the Fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord Fourth by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c. And in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and twenty four....
On the Sixteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord 1824 personally appeared William Lloyd and alledged that Griffith Lloyd late of Barmouth in the Parish of Llanaber in the County of Merioneth Mariner deceased died on the Eighth day of February last Intestate without making any Will, That he is Lawful and and Natural Father of the deceased wherefore he prays that Administrations of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased by granted to him on giving the usual Security.
Let Administration pass as prayed to the said William Lloyd: he being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased do not amount in value to the Sum of Two hundred Pounds.
