In 1851 Will'm Bennatts, aged 21, born in Gwinear Cornwall, copper miner, was with his parents in Roseworthy Wood, Gwinear.

In 1862 William Bennetts was working at the Minnesota Mine in Michigan, USA.

In 1871 William Bennetts, aged 40, born in Gwinear Cornwall, retired mine agent, and wife Ann, aged 35, born in Kea Cornwall, were living in Mt. Ambrose, Redruth Cornwall. With them were sons William G. (6) of USA (B.S.), scholar, and John (1) of Camborne Cornwall.

In 1881 William Bennetts, aged 51, born in Gwinear Cornwall, mine agent (retired), and wife Ann, aged 45, born in Kea Cornwall, were living at 2 Mt. Ambrose Terrace, Redruth. Present were sons William G. (16) of Michigan USA (British subject), genl. printer's apprentice, and John (11) of Camborne Cornwall, scholar.

In 1891 William Bennetts, aged 61, born in Gwinear Cornwall, retired mine agent, and wife Ann, aged 54, born in Kea Cornwall, were living in Redruth Highway, Redruth Cornwall. With them was son John (21) of Camborne, watch & clock maker.

In 1901 William Bennetts, aged 71, born in Gwinear Cornwall, retired gold mine agent, and wife Ann, aged 64, born in Kea Cornwall, were living in Mt. Ambrose, Redruth Cornwall.

In 1911 William Bennetts, aged 81, born in Camborne Cornwall, private means, and wife Ann, aged 74, born in Kea Cornwall, were with their son William Gundry Bennetts and his family at 6 Symons Terrace, Redruth Cornwall.
