Note that in both the Camborne parish register for baptisms and the 1841 England Census there is only one Fanny Bennett(s) of her generation in Cornwall, and contrary to the marriage record, she is recorded as the youngest daughter of William Bennetts and Margaret (Peggy) Tabb. In 1841 she was with her parents in Wellington Street, Camborne. It is possible that the name of her father provided in the marriage record (James) is an error.
In 1871 Fanny Thomas, aged 53, born in Camborne, and husband Gilbert Thomas, aged 53, born in Camborne, retired miner, were in Brea, Camborne. In 1881 Fanny Thomas, aged 63, born in Illogan Cornwall, and husband Gilbert Thomas, aged 63, born in Camborne, retired tin miner, were in Brea, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Richard (29), tin dresser, Jane (25), draper's assistant, James (23), tin dresser, and Fanny (21), domestic.
In September 1885 Fanny Thomas of Brea, widow, was granted Administration of her husband's personal estate.
