In 1841 Ab. Pearce, aged about 15, born in the county, miner, was with his mother Jane Hitchens and her husband Joel Hitchens, miner, in Lanner, Gwennap, Cornwall.

In 1851 Abraham Pearce, aged 25, born in Cornwall, miner iron ore, and wife Esther, aged 22, born in Plymouth Devonshire, were living in Cross Moor, Pennington, Lancashire. With them were sons Abraham (4) of Cornwall and Isaac (1) of Ulverston Lancs.

In 1861 Abraham Price [Pearce], aged 36, born in Cornwall, lead miner, and wife Esther, aged 34, born in Buckton? Devonshire, were living in Fellside, Caldbeck High, Cumberland. With them were children Abraham (14) of Gwennap Cornwall, labourer at lead mines, Isaac (12) of Pennington Lancashire, labourer at lead mines, Jacob (10) of Pennington, scholar, Esther J.
