Abstract of the Will of William Evans of Mynydd Ednyfed fawr in the Parish of Cricieth in the County of Caernarfon, Farmer, written 14 Sep 1811, 1st Codicil 7 Jun 1813, 2nd Codicil 16 Sep 1817, proved 8 Nov 1817, probate granted 26 Nov 1817.
Gives and bequeaths £20 to his son-in-law R. G. Jones and his eldest daughter Elizabeth Jones toward mourning.
Gives and bequeaths £20 to his son-in-law Robert Morris and his daughter Jane Morris for the same purpose.
Wills that his wife Gaenor Evans have the sum of £500 mentioned in her marriage settlement.
All the rest and residue of his worldly effects he disposes of as follows:
- All his money and ready cash he gives to his daughter Ellen Evans.
- Whatever else he may died possessed of he gives to his wife Gaenor Evans and his said daughter Ellen Evans, share and share alike. And after his wife dies, the value of her share shall go to Ellen.
Appoints his wife Gaenor Evans and his daughter Ellen Evans joint Executrices of his last will and testament.

1st Codicil:
Gives and bequeaths all his landed property and houses to his daughter Ellen and her heirs. And if she should die without issue, then the said property is to go to her living sisters.
2nd Codicil:
Revokes the bequests of £20 given above.
Gives, devises and bequeaths the messuage and leasehold premise called Dafarn in the Parish of Ynyscynhaiarn and which he now holds under a lease for three lives to his wife Gaynor Evans and his daughter Ellen their heirs and assigns.
On 6 Oct 1817 an inventory of the effects of the late Revd. William Evans of Mynydd Ednyfed fawr was taken by John Owen, farmer, and William Griffith, carpenter, and valued to £598 15s. 4
