In 1822 William Hawke was named as a beneficiary in his father's will.

In 1826 William Hawke son of William Hawke deceased was a beneficiary of the will of his grandfather John Hawke of St. Issey, carpenter.

In 1841 William Hawk, aged about 30, born in the county, builder, and wife Susan Hawk, aged about 25, not born in the county, were living in Gt Queen Street, St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex. With them was (William's brother) Hercules Hawk, aged about 20, builder.

In 1851 William Hawke, aged 37, born in London, builder, and wife Susan Hawke, aged 37, born in Cornwall, were living in Great Queen St., St. Giles in the Field, Middlesex, England. With them was son Charles (15) of London Midx.
