In 1843 Anne Paynter wife of William Paynter was a beneficiary of her father's will, to receive an annuity of £10 once she becomes a widow.

In 1851 Ann Paynter, aged 56, born in St. Breock Cornwall, widow, grocer, was living in Wadebridge, St. Breock. With her was daughter Ann (17) of St. Breock.

In 1861 Ann Paynter, aged 66, born in St. Breock Cornwall, widow, independent, was living at 8 Culfon Grove, West Hackney, Hackney St. John, Middlesex, England. At home were children (born in St. Breock): Willm. (30), commercial traveller (tea), Ann (27), independent, John (25), draper, silkman.

The Will of Ann Paynter late of Culford-grove in the county of Middlesex, widow, deceased, who died 26 January 1869 at Culford-grove aforesaid, was proved 29 June at the Principal Registry by the oaths of William Paynter of 17 Enfield-road De Beauvoir Town in the county aforesaid, gentleman, and John Paynter of 8 Culford-grove aforesaid, gentleman, the sons, the executors. Effects under £100. 4

Ann married William Paynter, son of William Paynter of Perleese and Jane Udy, on 29 Apr 1830 in St. Breock, Cornwall. (William Paynter was christened 12 Jul 1794 in Little Petherick, Cornwall and died on 28 Sep 1849 in Wadebridge, Cornwall, aged 55 years.)
