In 1851, John Rowe (14) of Camborne, farm labourer, was with his parents in Pendarves St., Camborne, Cornwall.

In 1861, John Rowe (24) of Camborne, copper miner, and wife Priscilla (25) of Sithney, were living in Pendarves Street, Camborne. Present were sons (born in Camborne): William (3) and Thomas (10m).

In 1871, John Rowe (33) of Tucking Mill, tin miner, and [2nd] wife Elizabeth (30) of Wendron, were living in Camborne. Present were children: William* (13), ag. lab., Thomas* (10), mine labourer at surface, John* (8), scholar, Mary A. (2), Alice (1)

* children of John's first marriage.

In 1881, John Rowe (43) of Camborne, tin miner, and Elizabeth (40) of Breage, were living in 63 Edward St., Camborne. Present were children: Thomas (19), tin miner, Annie (12) tin streamer, Alice (11), tin streamer (scholar), Emily (10), Richard (7), Bessie (6), scholar, Janie (5), John (3), Jimmy (1)
