"CAMBORNE LADY'S DEATH
Mr. Barrie B. Bennetts, Penzance (county coroner) at an inquest at Camborne on Saturday, recorded a verdict of "Accidental Death" in the case of Mrs. Mary Anne Eddy (75), wife of William [sic] Wesley Eddy, of Wellington-road, Camborne, who died following a fall in her home. The coroner sat without a jury. Reginald William Clarke Eddy, of The Crescent, Camborne, son of the deceased, gave evidence of identification, and said on 12th July his mother fell over a mat in her kitchen, and sustained an injury to her hip. She had had to remain in bed ever since, under medical attention. She died on 24th August..." 2
