Obituary
"The death occurred yesterday, at Gladstone, of Mrs. Stotten, wife of Mr. Stotten (Maryborough, head teacher, many years ago, of the Tiaro and, subsequently, the Sunbury State schools), and mother of the Rev. J. R. Stotten, curate of St. Paul's Church of England (Maryborough). The Rev. Stotten, who received urgent word on Thursday of the illness of his mother at Gladstone, where she had been paying a visit to her married daughter, left by yesterday morning's mail train for Gladstone, accompanied by his father. but arrived too late, death taking . place about an hour before the arrival of the train." 4
