MEDFORD, Ore. Janet Louise Modaffare, 68, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Providence Medford Medical Center.
Born Sept. 26, 1932, in Muskegon, Mich., she lived in the Rogue Valley for 15 years. She was previously from Escondido. She worked at a supervisor for Bell Telephone and retired in 1983. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Escondido and a member of the Republican Party. She enjoyed politics and crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Modaffare, was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Modaffare, in 1968. She is survived by sons Anthony Modaffare of Escondido and Matthew Modaffare of Medford, Ore.; brother Joseph Bongiorno of Escondido; sisters Vivian Waelchli of Medford, Ore.; and one grandchild..." 3
