Abstract of the Will of Samuel Carthew of the Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman, written 29 Oct 1776, proved 9 May 1777. 6

Gives 1 shilling each to his son Thomas Carthew and to his other sons and daughters.

All the rest of his estate and effects he gives to his wife Cordelia whom he appoints sole executrix of his last will and testament.

Witnesses: Francis Hockin, Roger Cock, Bartholomew Hockin

Samuel married Cordelia Harris, daughter of Thomas Harris and Margery Vivian, on 19 Oct 1745 in Camborne, Cornwall 1. (Cordelia Harris was christened on 30 Mar 1723 in Camborne, Cornwall 4 and was buried on 23 Dec 1794 in Camborne, Cornwall 5.)
