Henry V. Polkinghorn of Venice died Wednesday, May 12, 2004. He was 92.
He was born June 21, 1911, in Two Harbors, Minn., and moved to the area in 1978 from Fergus Falls, Minn. He was a retired district judge. He practiced law for 33 years. He became a county judge in 1968. He belonged to the Minnesota Law Alumni Association, the Masonic Lodge of Pelican Rapids, Minn., and El Zagal Shrine Temple of Fargo, N.D. He belonged to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Venice.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Merle of Venice; three sons, Thomas of Fargo, N.D., Richard of Littleton, Colo., and Robert of Bloomington, Minn.; a sister, Elizabeth Hillman of Fergus Falls; one grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren. 2
