In 1851 Grace Laity, aged 65, born in Camborne Cornwall, miner's widow, housekeeper, was living in Beacon Camborne. With her were children (born in Camborne, unmarried) Amelia (35), milliner, Mary (34), school mistress, and James (24), miner. Son Matthew and his family were living nextdoor.
