Floyd Curtis PERKINS

   Research Notes:

"Floyd Perkins, 59, of 916 Selden Rd., died Nov. 13 at Iron County General Hospital.
Mr. Perkins was born Nov. 1, 1925 in Redford Township and moved to the local area as a child with his parents, attending the Stambaugh public schools and graduating in 1944. He entered the Merchant Marines and served on the Great Lakes and the oceans until retiring in 1970, after which he returned to Iron River. For a short time he was employed as a security guard with the Pinkerton Security Agency at the Coleman Products plant. His father Melvin Perkins died in May 1981.
He is survived by his mother Emily Perkins at the Iron River Nursing Home; brother Ronald of Marquette; and two sisters, Jacqueline Rogosch of Fort Smith, Ark. and Janet Plourde of Lewiston, Idaho..."
