Mary Bennett and her husband Joseph Harris, their children Christopher and Joseph, John and Jane Trevarthen, their son Mark, John's mother Catherine Ripper Trevarthen, William Trevarthen and John's sister Eliza, were indentured to work as Copper Miners for the Copperfield Mine belonging to Peak Down Mines in Quensland.

They Left Gravesend in England on 1st March 1873 on board the Countess Russell and arrive in Rockhampton on 25th July 1873.
