In 1901 Bessie Thomas, aged 40, born in Crowan Cornwall, and husband Peter Thomas, aged 42, born in Crowan, tin miner, were living in Beacon, Camborne Cornwall. With them were Peter's sons John H (20), tin miner, Joseph (16) and Herbert (10).
In 1911 Bessie Thomas, aged 40, born in Crowan Cornwall, widow, was living in Green Bank, Beacon, Camborne Cornwall. With her were children Annie Rule Blewett* (19) of Crowan, and born in Camborne: Hettie Myrtle Thomas (9), Benjamin Blewett Thomas (6) and John Henry Thomas (4).

In the 1939 Register Bessie Thomas (b. 22 Mar 1870), widowed, incapacitated, was with (her daughter) Hettie Myrtle Murphy (b. 16 Sep 1901) and her husband Stanley M Murphy (b. 9 Oct 1900), at 52 Centenary Street, Camborne, Cornwall.

The funeral of Mrs. Bessie Thomas, aged seventy, of Centenary-street Camborne, took place on Tuesday at Centenary Church, the Rev. J. M. Gratton officiating, and the interment at Troon Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas, widow of Mr. Peter Thomas, of Beacon, who died in 1908, was connected with Centenary Methodist Church until the time of her marriage, when she went to live at Beacon and came connected with Beacon Chapel. For the past seven years, Mrs. Thomas had been living with her daughter, Mrs. S. Murphy, and during that time she had again re-established her connections with Centenary Church. Deceased leaves two sons and two daughters.
Mourners present were Messrs. B. B. and J. H. Thomas (sons), C. Blewett (brother), A. James, A. Harris, G. Berryman, G. Richards, J. Williams, Jack and Joseph Thomas (nephews), R. Denby, G. Mitchell and H. Bawden....
