BEACON METHODIST
The funeral of Mrs. Annie Karkeek, aged 74, wife of Mr. W. T. A. Karkeek, of Rock Villa, 42, Pendarves-street, Beacon, took place, on Thursday. The service in Beacon Methodist Church was conducted by the Rev. W. V. Sibson, who also officiated at Troon Cemetery. Mr. H. Bawden was the organist. Mrs. Karkeek, who is survived, in addition to her husband, by one daughter, Mrs. T. H. Thomas, had a long connection with Beacon Methodist Church. Mourners were Messrs. W. J. Thomas and J. S. Pendray (grandsons), T. H. Thomas (son-in-law), E., S., T., and A. Oates (cousins), R. Richards, who also represented Rufus Richards (Carnkie). The widower was unable to attend through indisposition. Mr. W. A. Luke represented the butchers of Camborne. Beacon Methodist Church was also represented....
