In 1861, Caroline Provis (30) of Camborne, married, and children Francis J. Provis (8) of Camborne, scholar, Nicholas Provis (6m) of Camborne, were with Caroline's parents in Wellington St., Camborne.

In 1871, Caroline Provis (38) of Camborne, married, mine girl, and son Nicholas Provis (10), errand boy, were lodging with [Caroline's widowed mother] Catherine Andrew in Camborne.

In 1881, Caroline Provis (47) of Camborne, widow, works at tin mine, and son Nicholas (20), tin miner, were with Caroline's widowed mother in 14 East Charles St., Camborne.

According to the GROE Death Index (vol. 5c, p. 197), Caroline Provis died aged 50 years. Her actual age was closer to 57.

Caroline married Alexander PROVIS, son of Francis PROVIS of Treswithian Downs and Elizabeth EDWARDS, on 3 Sep 1853 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Alexander PROVIS was born in 1828 in Treswithian Downs, Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 22 Nov 1828 in Camborne, Cornwall and died before 1881.)
