In 1901 Ernest Edward Langmead (25) of Chillington, baker (breadmaker), single, was living with Henry & Mary Gooding in Village Shop, High Bickington, Devon.
In the 1939 Register Ernest E Langmead (b. 14 Nov 1875), retired baker, and wife Lottie J Langmead (b. 25 Jul 1878), were living in Chillington Devon. At the same address was [Ernest's brother] Francis W Langmead (b. 29 Mar 1868), widowed, retired joiner.
