In 1861 Robert Henry Langmead (31) of Stokenham, ag lab, and wife Elizabeth Wakeham (36) of Portlemouth, were living in a private house, Stokenham Devon. Present were sons (born in South Pool): Charles Henry (8), scholar, Frank Elliott (4), scholar.
In 1871 Robert H. Langmead (41) of Stokenham, sheppheard, and wife Elizabeth W. (46) of Portlemouth, were living in a private house, Stokefleming. Present was son Frank E. (14) of South Pool.
In 1881 Robert Henry Langmead (51) of Stokenham, farm bailiff, and wife Elizabeth W. (56) of Portlemouth, were living in Bowden Cottage, Stokefleming. Present was boarder Edward Heard (23) of Halston, blacksmith
In 1891 Robert H. Langmead (61) of Stokenham, agricultural labourer, and wife Elizabeth (66) of Dartmouth, were living in Bowden Cottage, Stokefleming. Present was boarder Elizabeth Hill (10) of Slapton, scholar

Jan. 12th, at Bowden, Robert Henry Langmead, in his 70th year. The valued and faithful servant of L. R. Netherton for 29 years. The funeral at Slapton on Monday, at 2.30, leaving the house at 1 p.m.
