In 1851 Elizabeth Hughes (38) of Abererch and husband Hugh Hunter Hughes (41) of Pwllheli, M.R.C.S. & General Practitioner, were living in Plas y Ward, Denio, Carnarvonshire. Present were children (born in Pwllheli): Jane (12), John Evans (10), Elizabeth Owen (6), Hugh Hunter (1).

Named as a beneficiary in the Will of her aunt Lowry Owen of Fronfair in the Parish of Llanfair-juxta-Harlech in the County of Merioneth, spinster (written 1854), by then married to Hugh Hunter Hughes.


Elizabeth Hughes of Plâs y Ward Pwllheli died aged 52 years (burial record).
