Named as a beneficiary in the Will of his paternal grandfather Owen Rhydderch of Crafnant, Gent. (written 1764).

On 26 Dec 1785 John Owens of Crafnant, Gent. was granted Administration of his father's personal estate.

Named in the Will of his father-in-law John Jones of Ynyscain, Gent. (1787) as husband of his daughter Elizabeth.

John Owen of Crafnant is named in the 1794 Will of his friend John Owen of Merthyr in the Parish of Llandanwg as one of the guardians & trustees of his children while they are under age, and as a co-executor of his last will and testament. 3

In 1805 John Owen of Crafnant was one of those who took inventory of the goods and chattels of John Humphrey, late of Pandy Cwmyrafon in the Parish of Llanbedr.

In 1810 John Owen of Crafnant was a witness to the Will of John Morgan of Dol-bebin in the Parish of Llanbedr, yeoman. 4

(Elizabeth JONES was born about 1754 in Criccieth, Caernarvonshire, Wales and was buried on 30 Dec 1834 in Llanfair-juxta-Harlech, Merioneth, Wales, aged 80 years.)
