A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Paul's Church of England on September 17, Rev. C. E. Rully? officiating, when Miss Stella May Chapman, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Chapman, was married to Thomas Archibald O'Donnell, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. O'Donnell, and grandson of the late D. M. O'Donnell. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. ? Chapman (Glen Innes) looked charming and was frocked in satin with a train of cashmere de soi lined with shell pink georgette, trimmed with true lovers knots. She wore a wreath of orange blossoms, ? cap fashion, and veil and carried a shower bouquet of arum lilies, sweet peas and asparagus fern. She was attended by Miss Nellie Hodges, as bridesmaid, dressed in apricot morocam, and wearing a hat to match. Lillie Joan Elliott was trainbearer, dressed in pink georgette, with hat to match. Mr. Stanley O'Donnell acted as best man.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. O'Donnell, where about 40 guests were received. The tables, over which hung a huge wedding bell, were artistically arranged and decorated by Mrs. S. O'Donnell.
The bride and bridegroom left the same evening for Glen Innes, where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride travelled in a dress of navy beige?, with oriental trimmings and hat to tone." 5
