At the time of the 1901 England Census Frank Bertram Newick, age 18, born in Salehurst Sussex, was working as a domestic groom in Oakley, Merstham Surrey.

In Jul 1912 Frank Bertram Newick was present at the marriage of his sister Bertha Emily Newick to Edward John Snepp in Salehurst Sussex.

MR. F. B. NEWICK.

The death occurred on Wednesday of Mr. Frank Bertram Newick, of 6, Hill-street, at the age of 51. Mr. Newick had been a member of the local branch of Old Contemptibles almost since its inception, and in recent years had held the post of assistant-secretary. He was a popular employee of the Southern Railway. The funeral takes place at the Borough Cemetery to-morrow (Saturday).
