In 1901 Jonathan Anwyl (41) of Mallwyd, single, farmer (own account), was with his brother Evan Anwyl in Gelli, Meifod, Montgomeryshire.

In 1911 Jonathan Anwyl (51) of Mallwyd, joint-farmer with his brother Evan, and wife of less than one year Dinah (21) of Llanfihangel Montgomeryshire, were living in Gelli, Meifod, Montgomeryshire. Present were brother Evan and his family.
