In 1845 Evan Anwyl was a witness at the marriage of his niece Anne Anwyl to John PUGH of Cedris Talyllyn. 5

In 1851 Evan Anwyl (58) of Penegoes, farmer of 300 acres employing 7 labourers, and wife Elinor (62) of Llanwrin were living in Hendreseifion, Llanwrin, Montgomery. Abstract of the Will of Evan Anwyl of Hendreseivion in the Parish of Llanwrin in the County of Montgomery, Farmer, written 29 Sep 1851, proved 7 Jun 1852.

Gives & bequeaths £30 to his son Evan Anwyl.

Gives & bequeaths the rest and residue of his personal estate to his wife and children Evan Anwyl aforesaid, John Anwyl, Susan Pugh and Jannet Anwyl, share and share alike.

Appoints his wife and said son Evan joint executors of his last will and testament.
