In 1841, Thomas Blewet (60), copper miner, and wife Phillippa (50), were living in Churchtown Crowan. Present were children: William (15), ag. lab., John (8), [son-in-law] John Dunn (20), copper miner, [daughter] Phillippa Dunn (20), [granddaughter] Harriet Dunn (2m).

In 1851, Thomas Blewett (73) of Crowan, retired miner, pauper, and wife Phillipa (63), pauper, were living in Tregear, Crowan. Present was son John (17) of Crowan, farm labourer
