In 1871, Martha Rodda (51) of Crowan and husband James Rodda (57) of Crowan, miner and farming 8 acres, were living in Cargenwen Common, Crowan. Present were children (born in Crowan): Annie (20), Johnson (18), miner, Mary (16), dressmaker, Henry (14), miner, granddaughter Lora Rodda (1) of Crowan

In 1891, Martha Rodda (72) of Crowan, widow, was living in Cargenwen Common, Crowan. With her was daughter Annie Rodda (39) of Crowan.
