Gives and bequeaths to his wife Mary Butson his tenements, debts, stock and household goods, so long as she remains a widow. After her death or remarriage he wills the same to his three children Elizabeth, Thomas and John.

Appoints Thomas Barkla and Henry Roberts as guardians of his wife and youngest daughter Mary.

Makes his son Thomas sole executor of his last will and testament.
