"Guillaume de Briene de Panci" is named brother of Gauthier de Brienne by William of Tyre (Continuator)[337]. "Willelmus de Briena dominus de Paceio" confirmed donations to Fontenay by charter dated 1192, witnessed by "Galterii fratris mei comitis de Briena…"[338]. "Gualterius comes Brene" donated property to Beaulieu (Aube) by charter dated 1194 with the consent of "Willelmi et Johannis fratrum eius"[339].
