Research Notes:
A charter dated to [1082] confirms rights of Noyers “in ecclesia...Sancti Patricii”, with the support of “Bartholomæus dominus Insulæ et Girberga uxor eius”. A charter dated to [1085] records the hearing of a dispute involving Noyers abbey “apud Insulam in curia dominæ Girbergiæ”. “Domina Girberga de Insula et filius eius Burchardus” sold property “apud Insulam” to Noyers by charter dated to [1087], witnessed by “Goscelino de Sancta Maura...”. “Bartholomæus Insulæ dominus” donated property “in terra Crulliaci” to Noyers, with the consent of “conjux eius domina Girberga et filia eorum Dangerosa”, by charter dated to [1087]. 2
Marriage Information:
Gerberge married Barthélemy I de Bueil, seigneur de l’ Isle-Bouchard, son of Archembaud "Borel" de Bueil, seigneur de Saint-Patrice et L’Isle-Bouchard, and Amabilis, dame de l' Isle Bouchard. (Barthélemy I de Bueil was born between 1049 and 1053 and died after 1113.)
