In 1871 John Dure (25) of Stokenham, shoemaker, unmarried, was living in Coleridge Stokenham Devon. Present was sister Eliza Dure (30).

In 1881 John Dure (35) of Stokenham, cordwainer, single, was living in Stokenham. Present was sister Eliza Dure (41) of Stokenham, housekeeper.

In 1891 John H. Dure (45) of Stokenham, boot maker, single, was living in a cottage in Stokenham. Present was unmarried sister Eliza (50) of Stokenham, house keeper.
