In 1841 Joseph Prisk, aged about 25, born in the county, copper mine, and wife Susannah, aged about 20, born in the county, were living in Carthew, Wendron, Cornwall. With them were children Thomas (5), Susannah (1).
In 1851 Joseph Prisk, aged 38, born in Iligon [Illogan], Cornwall, widower, miner, was living in Carthew, Wendron. With him were children (born in Wendron) Thomas (16), miner, Susanna (11), home, Grace (3), home, John (2) and Joseph (9).
In 1861 Joseph Prisk, aged 48, born in Illogan, tin miner underground, and wife Sarah Prisk, aged 37, born in Wendron, Cornwall, were living in Tolcarne, Wendron.
