  Research Notes:

According to the 14th century Genealogia comitum Neuburgensium sive Formbacensium, "Fridericus senioris Tiemonis filius" married "neptem ipsius regis Gertrudem", the king referred to being Heinrich IV King of Germany, and was buried at Formbach. The primary source which confirms her precise parentage has not been identified. She was imprisoned at Mainz in 1076.

The Annalista Saxo records the death in 1116 of "Gertrudis ductrix, avia Liuderi ducis". 1

Gertrud married Gf. Friedrich VON FORMBACH, son of Gf. Dietmar VON QUINZIGGAU. (Ct. Friedrich VON FORMBACH was born about 1024 in Formbach, , Germany and died in 1059.)
