"Death of Harold McCoy.
The sympathy of the entire community goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Erskine E. McCoy over the death of their only son, Harold, a young man of nineteen years, which occurred Thursday morning, Sept. 18, after an illness of but a few days, with that dread disease infantile paralysis. He was a student in the High school and being of delicate physique and the only boy, was the idol of the home. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at the home, Rev. B.A. Studebaker officiating, and burial took place at Hillside cemetery." 3
