In 1841, Phillippa Sanders (40) and Benjamin Sanders (40), were living in Trelowarren St., Camborne. With them were children: James (20), smith, Cecelia (15), Richard (15), smith, Thomas (13), smith boy, Benjamin (11), smith boy, Joseph (9), smith boy, Phillippa (6)

In 1851, Philipa Sanders (53) of Camborne, and husband Benjamin Sanders (53) of Camborne, blacksmith, were living in Vyvyan St., Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Elizabeth (29), copper ore dresser, Thomas (21), blacksmith, Benjamin (18), blacksmith, Joseph (16), blacksmith, visitor William Basset (9) of Camborne, scholar

In 1861, Phillipa Saunders (59) [sic] of Camborne and husband Benjamin Saunders of Camborne (61) [sic] were living in Vyvyan Row, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Elizabeth Rosewarne (39), married, dressmaker, William (19), blacksmith

In 1871, Philippa Sanders (76) of Camborne, and husband Benjamin Sanders (75) of Camborne, blacksmith, were living in Trelowarren St., Camborne. Present were daughters Elizabeth Smithram (49), married, domestic, Celia Rowe (47), widow, laundress, grandchildren (born in Camborne): Celia (19), servant, Joseph (10), tin miner's assistant

Philippa Sanders died aged 84 years [sic] (GROE Death Index). Given Philippa's age is all over the place in the Censuses, it is not surprising that the informant was incorrect (closer to 80).

   Marriage Information:

Philippa married Benjamin SAUNDERS, son of James SANDERS and Elizabeth HANDCOCK widow, on 9 Mar 1817 in Camborne, Cornwall 1. (Benjamin SAUNDERS was born about 1798 in Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 12 Oct 1798 in Camborne, Cornwall 4 and died in 1873 in Camborne, Cornwall 5.)
