In 1851, Grace Hocking (42) of Camborne and husband Nicholas Hocking (43) of Camborne, working engineer, were living in High Downs, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): John (21), engine worker, Christopher (19), miner, Eliza Ann (16), mine girl, Margaret (13), mine girl, James (11), scholar, Elizabeth (8), Grace (6), Maryann (4)
In 1861, Grace Hocking (52) of Camborne and husband Nichls. Hocking (53) of Camborne, working engineer, were living in Camborne. Present were children: Grace (15), tin mine boy [sic], Mary A. (13), tin mine boy [sic], Joseph (9), scholar, and boarder Eliza A. Marton* (26) of Camborne, married, dressmaker
