The primary source which confirms her parentage and marriage has not yet been identified. Her marriage date is estimated by Adontz on the assumption that her son Gavriil Radomir was adult in 986. 1

Agatha married Samuil KUMET, Tsar of the Bulgarians, son of Nikola KUMET, Governor of West Bulgaria, and Ripsimija [BAGRATUNI], about 970. (Samuil KUMET was born about 958 in Bulgaria and died on 6 Oct 1014 in Prilep, Bulgaria.)
