In 1861, Elizabeth Nicholas (32) of Gwinear and husband James Nicholas (29) of Gwithian, ag. lab., were living in Battery Cot, Illogan. Present were children: Elizabeth (6) of Camborne, scholar, Ann (4), scholar, and Richard (1), both born in Illogan.

Elizabeth Nicholas died during the 1st Quarter aged 41 years (GROE Death Index, vol. 5c, p. 225).

Elizabeth married James NICHOLAS Jr., son of James NICHOLAS and Elizabeth ODGERS, on 23 Oct 1854 in Camborne, Cornwall. (James NICHOLAS Jr. was born in 1831 in Trevarnon, Gwithian, Cornwall and was christened on 17 Jul 1831 in Gwithian, Cornwall.)
