The longtime Encampment rancher and timber worker died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Saratoga....
He moved to Wyoming in 1925. He worked for many years as a tie hacker.
On June 21, 1933, he married Florence May Gage in Walden, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by one son, Glen Knotwell of Encampment; one daughter, Ramona Harvey of Lander; one sister, Velma Helmeyer; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
