In 1871 John V. Bennett, aged 31, born in Camborne, miner, and wife Mary A. Bennett, aged 31, born in Camborne, were living in Trevithicks Row, Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne): Henry H. (10), surface lab. at mine, John V. (8), scholar, Isabella (6), scholar, Josiah (5), scholar, Ann V. (2), Haughton (5 months). Mary's mother, Ann Bennetts (72) of Crowan [sic], widow, was staying.
In 1891 John Vellenoweth Bennett, aged 51, born in Camborne, inspector of nuisances, and wife Mary Ann Bennett, aged 52, born in Camborne, were living in Prospect Terrace, Calstock, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Camborne) Ann (22) and Haughton (20).
In 1901 John V. Bennett, aged 61, born in Pengegon, Camborne, surveyor of roads, and wife Mary A. Bennett, aged 62, born in Camborne, were living in Prospect Terrace, Calstock, Cornwall. With them was daughter Isabella Moor (35) of Pengegon, married.
