With them were children (born in Troon) George Arthur (10) and Lois Curnow (2).
In the 1939 Register Susan A Bennetts (b. 20 Jan 1874*), private means, and husband George C Stevens (b. 8 Aug 1872), builder, were living in Pendaves,Bay View Villas, Falmouth, Cornwall. At the same address was (daughter) Susan J Stevens (b. 8 Aug 1911), single, private means.

Mrs. G. Stevens, Troon
The death occurred at Wellington-road, Camborne, of Mrs. Susan Ann Stevens, aged 67, wife of Mr. G. Stevens of the Treslothan Hotel, Falmouth. Mrs. Stevens was a native of Troon, where the funeral took place on Thursday, Mr. J. H. Trebilcock officiating, at St. John's Methodist Church. Mr. H. Carter was the organist. The interment was at Troon Cemetery. Mourners were the widower, Messrs. G. and S. Stevens (sons), Br. B. Kestle (son-in-law), W. H. Bennetts, and W. and M. Grenville (nephews), W. H. Bennetts, H. Cory, J. Bennetts (cousins)....
