In 1851, George Bennetts (49) of Camborne, copper miner, and wife Anna Maria (44) of Camborne, were living in Centenary St., Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Francis (22), copper miner, Mathew (19), copper miner, Mary A. (18), copper mine girl, Thomasine (13), copper mine girl, William H. (9), scholar, Elizabeth (6), scholar, George (5), scholar

In 1861, George Bennetts (60) of Camborne, copper miner, and wife Anna (55) were living in West Charles Street, Camborne. Present were children: William H. (19), copper miner, Elizabeth (17), work to mine, George (15), copper miner

A George Bennetts died during 4q 1862 (no age given) but more likely the same as George Bennetts who died aged 70 years in 1870 (GROE Death Index, vol. 5c, p 189).

   Marriage Information:

George married Anna Maria WHITFORD, daughter of William WHITFORD and Mary, on 7 Mar 1828 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Anna Maria WHITFORD was christened on 11 Jul 1806 in Camborne, Cornwall and died after 1861.)
