"Juanita Remphrey
Opal Juanita Cecilia Hanratty Remphrey, 76, of Atkins, died Thursday, May 31,2007, at her home.
She was born June 15, 1930, in Miami, Ariz., and was the daughter of the late John Bryan and Dolly Katherine May Hanratty. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles W. Remphrey, Sr. and three sisters. After graduating high school in Oklahoma City, she attended Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, where she met and married Charles W. Remphrey. She attended Petit Jean Vo-Tech and received her diploma for license practical nurse and worked many years for Saint Mary's Hospital. She was very supportive of her husband during his 20 years in the U. S. Air Force.
She is survived by three sons, Charles W. Remphrey Jr., of Atkins, Larry Womack of Hot Springs and Gunnar Marich of Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl Ann and Lee Wilkinson of Atkins, and Anita Louise and Dennis Hixon of London; three sisters, Louise Marich, Ann Herion, Mary-Margaret Womack; grandchildren, Tommy Smith III, Eddie Baldridge, Ted Jennen III, Sarah Ferguson, Dolly Remphrey, Dillion Remphrey and Cory Jones; and great-grandchildren, Anna Taylor, Logan Jennen, Sydney Ferguson, Nickolas Lemley and Akira Smith...." 2
